Township To Purchase 40-Acre Park

The Green Township Trustee’s Office has started the process to purchase the 40-acre American Legion Park in southern Madison County. A public hearing has been set for Feb. 11 to issue a five-year bond in the amount of $280,000. The Fortville American Legion Post 391 is selling the park, which it has operated since 1991.
