Storage Company Withdraws Rezoning Request

Faced with the inevitable denial of the rezoning of the former Marsh store on Nichol Avenue, Storage of America has withdrawn their rezoning request. The Anderson Plan Commission voted unanimously last week to recommend to the Anderson City Council that the requested rezoning be denied. The Herald Bulletin reports that city officials are hoping that a new grocery store tenant can be found for the former Marsh store.
