An appellate court has upheld a Muncie man’s murder conviction. Marcus Hanyard was convicted last year in connection with the killing of 20 year old Zackary Farmer in an apartment on West Main Street. The 24 year old was handed 61 years behind bars, but claimed he played no role in Hanyard’s death during a home invasion and called his conviction bogus.
