He wants to keep his job and he has the financial advantage. Anderson Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr is starting the year with six figures in his war chest. Campaign finance reports show him with a campaign balance of $180,000. Broderick’s two Republican opponents each have less than $5,000 available to spend. The municipal election is still almost a year away.
