Beginning today, Community Hospital Anderson, St. Vincent Anderson and St. Vincent Mercy in Elwood will temporarily impose visitation restrictions to protect patients and limit their exposure to influenza and other respiratory viruses. All hospitals in Marion County are to do the same starting no later than Friday in response to the rising flu activity. Just last week, the Indiana Department of Public Health said flu activity is now “high” and “widespread” across the state.
