In a letter to county commissioners, Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler writes he wants to end the joint city-county 911 dispatch operation. Under the current contract, Tyler must give a 12 month termination notice, which is what the letter represents. He cites that taxpayers of the city are being treated unfairly under the agreement.
