Authorites in Richmond say a teen and police officers exchanged gunfire outside the Dennis Intermediate School Thursday morning. Officers say the boy then ran inside the school and killed himself. Police had gotten a call that an armed person was heading to the school with the intent of hurting people. The incident took place at about 8:20am. Students from the school were taken to Richmond High School for parents to pick them up.
