The annual Indiana Economic Outlook takes place Wednesday as Ball State University economist Michael Hicks will review 2018 and provide an analysis for 2019. Hicks, director of the University’s Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER), believes the combined effects of 2018 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, current monetary policy, and a widening trade war will reduce the pace of Indiana’s economic growth in 2019.
