Senator Joe Donnelly wants the EPA to take over the investigation and cleanup of contamination in Franklin. Donnelly is calling for Governor Eric Holcomb to step up to help solve what he calls an “incredibly heartbreaking problem”: Sick children and a toxic environment. Just over a week ago the EPA confirmed known carcinogens have migrated from an old site into a nearby neighborhood.
