Muncie Fire Victim Identified

Authorities have identified the man killed in a fire at a southside Muncie home. Police say 33-year-old Gary Smith pushed his wife out a window in the attic of the home in order to save her. He was overcome by smoke and was unable to exit the West Fifth Street home. Investigators believe the fire was started by clothing placed too closely to a heater.
