Black Ice Causes 30 Car Pile Up

Black ice is the likely cause of a pileup involving 30 vehicles in Carmel Thursday morning. It happened just before 7am on the 96th Street Bridge over the White River. Four people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and 17 vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
