A metal range grate the supposed weapon in an attack on a man by a Muncie woman. Police say 30 year old Mercadies Kirby went after the victim, as witnessed by a person who drove the man to the hospital. The man was carrying the grate when he entered the witness’s vehicle to be taken to the hospital from the 200 block of South Talley Avenue.
