Pick-Up Truck Strikes Horse And Rider

An unusual accident along Madison County Road 100 South, when a pick-up truck struck a horse and its rider: The sheriff’s department says two friends were horseback riding when one of the horses was struck by the truck. The rider was sent to the hospital. The horse died at the scene.
