Evan Broderick, the son of Anderson Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr., has resigned from his position as an assistant city attorney. According to the Herald Bulletin, the 36-year-old Evan Broderick pleaded guilty in September to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. Anderson City Attorney Tim Lanane says they’re looking into the possibility of hiring a third attorney.
