Alexandria Community Schools now has a three-member board that will carry out the district’s $19.3 million capital improvement plan approved by taxpayers in a May referendum. The plan includes creating one campus by moving Alexandria Elementary to a new space built onto the existing intermediate school and making improvements to the high school.
