“Beer Bandit” Taken Into Custody

Employees of a Muncie convenience store called her the Beer Bandit. Now she’s under arrest for allegedly threatening to shoot a store clerk. 28-year-old Chanda Lou Ditmars is also charged with intimidation and criminal trespass for the incident at the Village Pantry on South Macedonia Avenue. Ditmars – already banned from the store – is alleged to have walked in, grabbed a beer and told the clerk there was nothing they could do about it.
