It was a ball of flames. That’s what city firefighters say they arrived to find at 705 N. Mulberry Street in Muncie early Friday morning. The place was engulfed and was running so hot it melted vinyl on a home across the street. Neighbors tell the Star Press the place had been used as a drug house and was boarded up on several occasions. No injuries reported.
