Former Sheriffs Object To New Jail Plan

Delaware County’s two living former sheriffs say they object to the new jail plan being carried out by the county commissioners. The Star Press reports Steve Aul and George Sheridan they think the county should move its jail to a shell building along Cowan Road rather than the former Wilson Middle School. Commissioner James King, who has spearheaded efforts to move the jail denounced the statements saying its nothing more than a political stunt.
