Commissioners Give The Okay; Council To Decide September 11th

Madison County Commissioners have given the okay; now, the Madison County Council is expected to consider $1 million to Elwood for the expansion of the Hinds Career Center to begin a robotics training program. The classes are expected to start next June. Also, the Madison County Council is expected to consider $360,000 for three new water wells on the North Business Park property in Alexandria. The requested money would come from the wind farm economic development fund. The council will decide at the Sept. 11 meeting.
