The Alexandria City Council has accepted drinking water and wastewater utility planning studies that recommend $9 million in projects. The intent is to seek loans and grants to offset the cost of the proposed projects. The city recently was awarded a $600,000 OCRA grant for its mandatory stormwater/wastewater separation project.
