Workers on Bridge 701 in Delaware County found a piece of history there. As they were breaking up concrete, a tattered slip of paper in a glass jar fell out. On that paper it read, “List of last crew working on this bridge,” and contained the names of 17 people. They supposedly worked on the span between 1938 and 1939.
