Labor Day is always the first Monday in September, which is this coming Monday and it’s a national holiday. Federal offices are closed, as well as state offices and most city offices. This also means the courts and the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be closed. The United States Postal Service is also considered a federal office, so mail will not be delivered and the post office will be closed. UPS and FedEx don’t deliver. Most banks will be closed, as will the stock markets.
