One man is dead and another is injured after being struck by a vehicle while doing some bridge work. It happened Saturday near the area of CR 600 West just south of CR 200 North when contract employees for the Madison County Highway Department were struck by an SUV. 58-year-old David A Kirk, of Gwynneville, Indiana, was pronounced dead at the scene.
