Muncie Icon To Make The Move To Marion

Maybe the Facebook chatter was right this time. Jeff Brooks, owner of Brooks Upper Crust Pizza in Marion is ready to take possession of a Muncie icon – the neon sign from Burkie’s Drive-In. Brooks bought IT along with the rights to the restaurant’s recipes, the root beer and some of the equipment. The new owner says he’s considering changing the neon from Burkie’s to Brook’s and displaying it in his restaurant along the Mississinewa River in Marion.
