Man Wanted In Fatal Hit & Run Now In Custody

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department has arrested the man the Anderson Police Department is seeking in connection with a July 27 fatal hit and run. 31-year-old Kevin Lee Hamilton Jr. has been arrested on a warrant in connection with a crash that killed 65-year-old John R. Kelley of Elwood. The crash happened near the Family Dollar Store on Nichol Avenue in Anderson.
