Inmate Quotes Bible; Prosecutor Quotes Scripture Back

A Gaston man serving 60 years for murdering his ex-wife quoted the Bible in a bid for early release from prison. Tommy Ross quoted the Gospel of Matthew’s passage of turning the other cheek. Delaware County’s Chief Deputy Prosecutor Eric Hoffman wrote in his counter-motion, “Thou shall not kill,” and, “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”  Ross’ request has been denied.
