Grocery Chain To Nix Visa Credit Cards

Supermarket giant Kroger says one of its subsidiary stores will not accept Visa credit cards for payment beginning in mid-August. Foods Company stores in northern and central California will no longer accept the cards. Kroger says it’s due to the high price merchants have to pay to process payments. It’s unknown if KROGER will follow Foods Co.’s lead.
