Anderson Nursing Home Cited After Resident’s Heat Exhaustion

An Anderson nursing home and rehabilitation facility has been cited by the state after a resident suffered apparent heat exhaustion in May. The Indiana State Department of Health says a maintenance supervisor at Lindberg Crossing Senior Living noted air conditioning units affecting one hall weren’t working on May 25, but the facility administrator wasn’t notified until days later. The facility says in a statement that “corrective measures were implemented.”
