Trial Continuance Granted For Summitville Man

A Madison County judge has approved a continuance in the August 21st trial of a 22-year-old Summitville man charged with neglect of a dependent causing serious bodily injury. Ryan Smith and his girlfriend, Emily McCune, are facing charges after they took their infant daughter to the hospital with a broken leg. Doctors say 13 old fractures were found on the infant known as “Baby H.”
