Madison County Sheriff Scott Mellinger says there have been a “significant” number of calls from all parts of the county regarding thefts, car break-ins, and prowlers over the past month. Mellinger reminds residents to keep your home and vehicle locked at all times and report all suspicious activity as a preventative measure.
