A professor at Ball State’s John H. Schnatter Institute of Free Enterprise is speaking out against Schnatter’s racial slur. Professor Steve Horwitz called the slur “inexcusable” and added that both Ball State and Purdue are in a tough spot. The Universities of Kentucky and Louisville have removed Schnatter’s name from their campuses and Horwitz asked if BSU or Purdue want to be a holdout after the others moved so quickly. Horwitz says the PR road will be uphill.
