MadCo Toddler Dead; Mom & Boyfriend Held

A nearly two-year-old girl is dead and her older sibling is in the hospital after police say the two suffered severe physical injuries. Paisley Hudson was pronounced dead at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital after being brought there by her mother, 25-year-old Kayla Hudson. Both she and her 26-year-old boyfriend, Ryan Ramirez, have been arrested on a preliminary charge of neglect of a dependent resulting in death. They are being held without bond at the Madison County Jail. The coroner says the little girl died from a blow to the head and two lacerations to her liver and there was evidence of other injuries as well.
