Former Teacher Sentenced For Misconduct

A former Indiana Christian Academy teacher who acted inappropriately toward a girl half his age has been sentenced for misconduct. Stephen Lingle has plead guilty to attempted sexual misconduct with a minor after admitting to writing letters to a girl describing how beautiful he thought she is. There’s also an allegation that he touched her inappropriately. In court documents, Lingle said his wife wasn’t giving him attention and wanted a close friend. Lingle is sentenced to one year in jail and two years of probation. Authorities began their investigation last year.
