The Anderson City Council is being asked to beef up the city’s fireworks ordinance. The current ordinance restricts the use of fireworks between 5 p.m. and two hours after dusk from June 29 to July 3 and from July 5-9. One councilman says some of what was being proposed is already included in the city ordinance and suggested speaking to the police department about enforce it.
