A New Castle man is being prosecuted for killing a goose. Whalen L. Abbott has been charged with unlawful hunting of a migratory bird after shooting it with a pellet gun. Abbott said the bird was threatening him, but video shows there was no immediate danger posed to him. Abbott’s hearing is set for July 10th.
