Ball State University will appoint the new Muncie Community Schools Board and the announcement on who that will consist of comes Monay. There’s a meeting happening Monday in the student center.
The seven-member MCS board will start July 1. Ball State’s Board of Trustees will approve five board members recommended by President Geoffrey S. Mearns. The President will also appoint one member recommended by the Mayor of Muncie and one member recommended by the Muncie City Council.
