Anderson department heads are getting word to keep their bottom lines where they are for the 2019 budget. That would keep those numbers in line with those approved for 2017. As a result. departments with employees represented by local unions, like police and fire, would be required to cut their requests. The mayor points out the process is early on and they want to hold the line as much as possible with the newest spending plan.
