Anderson Airport Gets Nearly 3 Million Grant

The Anderson Municipal Airport has been awarded a $2.7 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for runway and lighting improvements. The project includes the refurbishing of the east-west runway with some elevation changes. That leg of the project should be completed in 2019.
