Not alot of interest from companies vying to get the city bid to tear down the old Marathon gas station and parts of a commercial building on West Jackson Street. City officials say they received just one bid from Shroyer Brothers for the work; $48,675 for the commercial building and $38,943 for the gas station. The city will take a week to consider the offer.
