Kroger Supplier Recalling Ground Beef Due To Plastic Particles

A Kroger supplier is recalling more than 35,000 pounds of raw ground beef because it could contain plastic. The recalled products were shipped to distribution centers in Indiana and Virginia, and sold to stores under more than a dozen labels and varieties, including “Kroger Ground Beef,” “All Natural Laura’s Beef” and “JBS Ground Beef Angus Chuck”. The recall was issued after a customer complained of finding blue plastic pieces in one package. USDA officials say the meat should be thrown away or returned.
