The Madison County hazmat team and Anderson Fire Department have been dispatched to reports of illegal dumping in a wooded area. They found and retrieved a 55-gallon drum and are still unsure what’s in it. The hazmat team sealed the drum in a container and its contents will be tested by the Department of Environmental Management.
