A federal report says the pilot of a business jet told investigators he didn’t see a small plane taking off before the two aircraft collided at a northeastern Indiana airport, killing both people aboard the smaller plane. The National Transportation Safety Board preliminary report says the jet’s pilot said he didn’t remember making a radio call announcing his landing approach to the Marion Municipal Airport.
