Thousands Of Tires, Other Waste Still Behind Farmers Market Site

A considerable amount of trash including household waste, construction debris and at least 30,000 old tires remain on the site of the Fresh Thyme Farmers Market has just been built remains unfinished. Environmental officials in 2006 issued a notice to then-Northwest Truck and Auto Parts owner Harold Holding about the mess and some work has been done there. Holding faces fines for not meeting the remediation order on the property.
