Testimony began Tuesday in the trial of a Muncie man accused of trying to kill his former girlfriend with a bomb. 39-year-old Lionel Mackey Jr. is charged with attempted murder, possession of a destructive device or explosive and other counts. Mackey’s alleged target said she had ended their relationship because of his controlling ways.
