A Muncie man has admitted to sexually abusing a pre-teen girl. 37-year-old John Michael Vela II pleaded guilty to child molesting, a Level 2 felony carrying up to 30 years in prison. His sentencing is set for May 23. City police said he admitted to some of the allegations made by his victim.
