County Coroner Says Overdose Deaths Doubled Since 2013

According to Coroner Marian Dunnichay, the number of drug overdose deaths in Madison County is increasing. Dunnichay says there were 53 deaths by overdose in 2017, compared to 46 in 2016. The County Health Department states the death toll attributed to drug overdoses has more than doubled since 2013.
