City, Couny Remain At Odds Over 911 Dispatch Center

No accord between the city and county on how to run the joint 911 dispatch center and end the city’s plans to create its own ambulance service. There have been talks happening for months but no compromise. Mayor Dennis Tyler had offered to drop city plans for its own ambulance service if the county would do away with the city’s $1.2 million contribution to 911 operations.
