A man who’d been identified as a suspect in the 2008 slaying of a Middletown man, has now been charged. 51 year old Dana Zirkel of Daleville is charged with murder and burglary, stemming from the August 2008 death of 49 year old Michael Patterson. Police say Patterson was attacked when he interrupted a burglary at his home, along Henry County Road 950-N and died of severe head injuries at St. John’s Medical Center in Anderson.
