Springbreaking BSU Student Struck In Hit & Run Crash

A Ball State student is critically hurt in a hit-and-run while on spring break in Florida. 21-year-old Andrew “Drew” Akers’ was crossing a Fort Lauderdale street when he was struck. Now the junior at Ball State University is recuperating, hundreds of miles away from home while the search for the driver of the car that hit him continues.
