Anderson Police have completed ‘active threat training’ at the old North Side Middle School. The course included actual scenarios for the participants to navigate. Previous exercises were referred to as active shooting training, but they now are referred to as active threat training because the weapons used can be anything from knives to crowbars to vehicles.
